Who Are you?
The Revollution is an American rock band currently located in Boston, MA. Blending elements of Jazz, R&B, and DIY Punk. Our goal is simple; create music that engages and entertains, and to do this we respect the musical traditions of the past without obsessing over them.
MEMBERS
Benjamin “Beano” Smith (Guitarist) - The founder of the group, Beano is a singer-songwriter and composer dedicated to the American tradition of music. His love of music, history, and philosophy as well his sense of humor offer a unique body of work.
Roca Barley Smith (spiritual adviser) - Born in North Carolina and abandoned by her mother at a young age, Roca was the smallest of a litter of Treeing Walker Coonhounds (as in Raccoon). Named for Saint Roch of Majorca, Roca’s contributions are essential to the stability of The Revollution.
